Miles the big 1st grader

Miles started school this week as the big 1st grader. Here are some pictures from the first day of school. It's a small class with only 10 students. Miles has already made friends with 2 of 3 new students. In the above photo he is sitting next to Josephine, and Phillip both new to St. Sebastian.
Miles likes his new teacher and has already had a very busy first week.

Aquarium of the Pacific visit

on August 25th my friend Kasey and I took our kids to the Aquarium of the Pacific down in Long Beach. Miles, Brooke and Bradley had a good time and saw some really cool stuff.

Aunt Susie's visit

Tom's sister Susie came down for a visit so she could meet Helen and so we could meet her boyfriend Mark. We had a really nice time even though the temp were in the triple digits. We had a BBQ at our house on Saturday and celebrated Sara's birthday. It was a nice visit, but too short. We hope she will come visit us again soon.
