CoC OTR forces

I braved the hot garage as long as I could.  Forces were arranged, but that was it.  No gaming actually happened.  But, this is what could have happened:

The town of Bad Arsedorf.  Supposed to be a backwater.  Supposed to be nothing more than a diversionary attack into the Danube river valley.  Just some second-echelon Czechs.  So why is a crack Soviet Armor Brigade pouring over the hill?

The small town of Bad Arsedorf:  It has already taken some random artillery shelling, resulting in at least one traffic pileup.

The Soviet Leading March Party advances.  On the left flank they move their recon patrol, augmented with a ZSU-23-4:

In the center is the main thrust of the Leading March Party:  The Leader with his troop.  A second ZSU-23-4 and the Forward Observer follow in train:

On the left flank, the BMP2 Platoon has moved up into line, but has not yet deployed their squads:

Facing them is a task force from the Canadian Mech Brigade.  2 Platoons of Tanks, with an attached platoon of infantry.  The infantry deployed forward in the town, along the railroad track:

The tanks had a broad front to cover, and precious little cover to use.  They deployed as best they could:

Commander and 2nd IC.  He should probably move to provide more command coverage:

Well, that was it.  I laid out forces to see what I can field.  Need more T-72 for a whole battalion.  Can't mix T-72 and T-64 in the same unit.  Time to fire up the 3d printer again!
