Happy 5 month old

Weighing in at 16lbs. 7oz and measuring 27 inches long, here's Helen at 5 months old. She's such a happy baby.

Sespe Rendezvous

Uncle Joe gives Helen some love
Uncle Joe, Auntie Laurel, Helen, and Daddy enjoying themselves at the rendezvous.
Happy Helen enjoying her first Sespe Rendezvous
Grandpa Edd gives Helen her first taste of frosting
Helen's first instant sugar coma, what a face.
Once again the Glauser family took to their motorhome and headed up to Rose Valley CA for the annual Sespe Rendezvous put on by our gun club. Tom once again did the scoring, Miles played with all the kids who were there, and Helen just took the whole thing in.

Marching Through History

Colonial Helen snuggling with Auntie Laurel

Cuddling with Daddy on a cold windy morning
Our Riflemen beating the British.
Over Columbus Day weekend, we left our normal lives and went back to the past to become colonials fighting for our freedom. Miles and Helen got to see a lot of different eras of history and we all had a good time. Our group the Morgan's Rifles won first place for best colonial encampment, 3rd place for overall education, and a special General's award for best everything. It was very exciting to take part in our first Marching Through History. Can't wait to do it again.

Helen and Miles watching the game
Last Friday October 3, 2008 Sara took the kids and her best friend Laurel to an Angels Baseball game. It was the second game of the playoffs and Helen's first game ever. We were all excited and hoping the Angels would win. Helen enjoyed ever minute of it, well almost. Wait until you see the next batch of photos from the game. Let's just say that as the game wore on, Helen became very sleepy. Stay tuned to find out what happened.

I just love my swing.
There is plenty more to come but this is all Helen will allow me to post tonight. Look for us at the Angels Playoff game coming soon, tomorrow if Helen lets me.

Stay tuned

As soon as the techie gets home, we will have some cool videos for you to watch.

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall

Who's that beautiful baby on the wall

Mommy help, that baby on the wall is scaring me
Please Mommy make her stop
Ok, maybe she's not so bad
Then again, she does look kind of weird
Or not
Hey, this isn't so bad
But I'm still not sure about her.
Helen has since made friends with the baby in the mirror.

Helen discovering

Helen's first look at her crib mobile
Sleeping like an angel on her play mat
Her first real encounter with our cat Tigger
Too much celebrating!! Our Angels just won the AL West Title and I'm pooped out from all the celebrating. Go Angels. Win the series just like you did when my brother was born 6 years ago.
My shoes are so pretty, they make me feel like dancing.
