On Saturday April 3 2010 Miles' team The Yankees played The White Sox. Miles got his first single, RBI, three stolen bases, and his first scoring run. After the game, Coach Hector gave Miles his first game ball which is now proudly displayed on his baseball shelf in his room. Way to go Miles!!!! Daddy was working but managed to bring the whole crew up to watch the game, so he was able to see Miles hit, steal, and score. The Yankees played a really great game and only ended up losing by one run. Way to go Yankees!!!!!

Miles Little League Debut
Yesterday March 13, 2010 Miles made his Little League debut with his team the Yankees. He played right field, was at bat twice(but struck out both times), and his team played really hard. In the end though they lost to the Angels 9-3. The kids had a great time and there are 17 more games before the season ends. Please stay tuned.

Backyard in January
It only got into the 60's here today, but we spent some time in the backyard. Helen was actually a drippy mess, but with a little photoshop help, she cleans up OK:

She was quite the supervisor of our backyard projects:

First the hummingbirds reminded me that I need to take down my Christmas lights...

Miles introduced Helen to his double swing

The hills are looking a bit drab. We need more rain...

Miles spent some time chopping dirt in the 'garden'
And Helen threw the resultant chunks around...

So not too bad a day for us here in California, considering that iguanas are freezing to the palm trees in Florida. So who's coming to visit first?
