Miles' 9th Birthday

On October 29th our little Miles turned 9 years old.  For his party we had some friends over and played board games, watched Halloween movies, and just had a great time hanging out with really good friends.

This past October Miles shot his very first rendezvous.  Out of four youth shooters he placed third.  We imagine by next year he will place second or even first.

He's such a handsome boy!  Can't believe in just two weeks he will be turning 9 years old, it can't be possible.

10th Anniversary of 9-11

This year for the 10th Anniversary of 9-11 we went down to the Fire Fighter's Memorial where Tom was in charge of all the Honor Guard details for the ceremony.  It was a really nice ceremony and the turn out was great as well.  Tom and everyone involved did a fantastic job.

Grandparent's Day Sacred Heart School Sept 9, 2001

For Grandparent's Day this year, Miles asked his surrogate Grandmother Grammie Janet Foy to accompany him to Sacred Heart School for the day.   Grammie Janet enjoyed a nice breakfast, and Miles got to interview her and find out about when she was a child, she also helped him build his family tree.  A big thank you to Grammie Janet for being there for Miles.    
We are very blessed to have such great friends.

Chester

For Tom's birthday we went down to our local pound and adopted a dog.   We named him Chester.
